30th April 2015 Introduction to this holiday
We arrived by train and walked up the steep, narrow valley to the church
San Lorenzo’s 14th century rose window
The hillside is terraced as it is so steep
Then we walked down to the little harbour
and the sun came out, so it looked just like a postcard
There is a walk way
You can see where the low level path is to Corneglia, but due to land slips, it has been closed for a few years
