This is Verity by Damien Hirst. She stands at the harbour and was cast at his Pangolin foundry in Chalford, near Stroud. She is pregnant and represents justice – she stands on law books, holds a sword up and scales behind her. A notice board explains that looking from one side, you can see inside her.
