The town is perched on a cliff above the River Wye

which had cows going for a paddle

The timber framed building dates from about 1600

   

13th century church and Millennium Gates, which lead to Prospect Gardens, laid out in 1696 with a view over the River Wye

By the 17th century Market House is a large black and white house and lots of knitting

Tower and Rudhall Almshouses, which started as a 14th century hospital
