This Iron Age Hill Fort on the Ridgeway, is now a country park, but was first used 2,500 years ago
Looking towards Swindon was hazy, but the fields of rape show up
We could see blue fields of flax (linseed) across the fort
There is an outer ditch surrounding it
then a much deeper inner ditch
The centre is relatively flat
This may have been the dew pond
