A lovely day for a walk through Castle Combe, and through the woods.

We parked in the car park at the top of the hill and walked down into the village

Thatched roofs are unusual in the Cotswolds

The river is called the By Brook

The manor is now a hotel

The sheep were asleep in the shade. It was lovely in the woods

Former mill

Old post office at Ford and a very old clapper bridge
