We started at Rockcliffe
Up there is the Mote of Mark, the site of a 6th century AD fort

Bluebells were still out
We followed the Jubilee Path to Kippford
then walked back along the coast
We were surprised to find that the beaches were made of shells, not pebbles
Next – Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright
